Much greater production and wear-life can be realized with the use of Hoyt’s Hi-Rise™ Screens. Compressed and expanded oblong “Shaped Wire” is used to manufacture this highly efficient screen. Essentially, Hi-Rise™ offers the open area of a smaller wire diameter with the wear-life characteristics of a much larger wire diameter. This long-wearing, non-blinding screen is specifically designed to withstand heavier deck loads. Utilizing “Shaped Wire Technology,” the Serpa XLT™ Screen offers superior strength and rigidity while staying amazingly clean. The “Shaped Wires,” positioned vertically, are 55% stronger than conventional round wires of the same diameter. Wear-life is also greatly improved with the use of Serpa XLT™ when screening highly abrasive aggregate, and polyurethane-covered binding wires ensure maximum wear life. This newly developed polyurethane channel bar strip offers much greater wear-life and superior protection for all tensioned screening media. A wider area of support allows a larger bearing surface for added protection under the screening media and the support bar members.
